Getting More Out Of vRA – Session 3

Getting More Out Of VMware – Webinar

VMware’s technical team will help you gain maximum value from your VMware solutions.
These sessions, led by VMware Cloud Specialist Systems Engineers, help you learn about and more effectively utilize VMware vRealize™ solutions, speeding your ability to get a return on your investment.

Topic: An Introduction to Customizing and Extending vRealize Automation

Wouldn’t it be nice to automatically install a software package on a newly provisioned VM?  How about automatically cleaning up AD computer accounts when VMs are destroyed?  VMware vRealize™ Automation™ offers capability to customize deployments and management of machines. In this session you will learn about:

  • Custom Properties and how they can be used to control the behavior of machines throughout the lifecycle
  • The purpose and uses of the Guest Agent
  • The basics of lifecycle management and where the built in vRealize Automation master workflows can be customized
  • Configuration and example use cases of the vRealize Orchestrator™ and vRealize Automation extensibility workflows.
