Apcera – Modernize legacy apps by providing persistent data in a container

Well it’s been an exciting month as I get hands on with Apcera and move further up the stack to focus on applications more. I have to say based on what I’ve seen just in the last 3 weeks has blown me away and I can’t wait for all of you out there to get as excited as I am about the potential.

Obviously I’m still going to work to do these education session and focus them around many different characteristics. First I will continue to build out the joint work we continue to do with VMware, this will illustrate great ways for vRA, LI, and Ops to work with our platform and provide yet another class of service to your consumers. Second I will be doing some introductions to the great power that Apcera provides for those of you wanting to move into the application portability and or dev ops type of activity. Finally I’ll illustrate the integrations across different providers to show the ease of use and mobility.

So with that stated let me first say I’m super excited to have created my first video and it has been authorized on the Apcera youtube channel.

This is a quick example of how you would wrap up one of your existing applications that require local file storage and persist it across the platform… even share it between two instances of the same containerized application.

Want to learn more, please contact me and I’ll be happy to walk you through all of the advanced functionality and service offerings you can provide to your consumers!
